Nathan's Indie Balearic Mix by Nathan Davis

Nathan Davis is heavily influenced by DJ Alfredo who invented the balearic sound pretty much by accident by not having enough records of the same genre to fill his very long sets. (Nathan's series of mixes in tribute to Alfredo will be featured on AOR Disco over the next few weeks). Nathan grew up with - and first started clubbing with - The Freestylers and The Plump DJs, worked at Fresh Records with Richard X in the mid 90's and ran a club called Come Together in Central London from 1999-2003.

He's currently involved in the Boys Own Appreciation Society on Facebook (set up by Mark Ashdown in 2007) which is now set on secret as it proved to extremely popular. The ethos of the group always been to promote good quality music from all genres dating to far back as early the early 70's. This Indie Balearic Mix was inspired by the Boys Own Label and parties from 1989-1993.
