BEST OF KENNY DICKENSON MIX FOR AOR DISCO BY DJ SAME
Here's another of our favourite mixes which came in while we were away. Los Angeles based Kenny Dickinson aka RedKen is an acclaimed keyboardist and composer but is a legend in AOR Disco world for his remixes which always feel like an event. He rarely does more than one remix a year and each one is outstanding. Kenny has the rare ability to turn songs by the likes of Steve Perry, Ned Doheny, Captain Beefheart and Tom Petty into big room club tracks whilst retaining the spirit of the originals. DJ Same (himself a much loved contributor to the site) has put together this great mix to celebrate the best of RedKen and we hope it won't be too long before we're able to do a follow-up.
