AOR DISCO EXCLUSIVE #20: The Golden State by Finn Campbell-Notman

Finn Campbell-Notman has been playing deep house for nearly eighteen years, from the  free-parties in the UK to the beaches of Barcelona, from below the Golden Gate to the shores of Yucatan.  After leaving Bristol for San Francisco in 1996 he founded the seminal label Imperial Dub recordings with the Dubtribe Sound System and Corey Black.  Since 2004 he has been an integral part of Barcelona's house scene. For the last two years he has been producing again as The Groovers with Steve Ferrand.

Finn says the inspiration for this  mix for AOR Disco was "the coastal drive from LA to The Bay on Highway 101 - via Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Big Sur, Point Lobos, Monterey and Carmel. Sunroof down in a big old Chevy taking it at a steady fifty-fiveSomehow it's all originals, no edits. I'm not sure why - it just kinda flowed like that.  Nearly all are pure Westcoasters and it was fun to put together."
