The House of the Flying Eyeball presents The Good News Blues
Many thanks to Dundee's John Burns for this exclusive mix for AOR Disco. This is the second big 1980s set John has done for us (the first was Hometown Hi-Fi's Ain't No Trouble) and few DJs can capture this era whilst making the mix sound dynamic and current as well as he can. So welcome to the The House of the Flying Eyeball.
"I love the art form of the mix tape and believe it ought to tell a story. I hope I've been able to do that here," says John. "Highlights include the fantastic Rio mix of Shout by Depeche Mode, the Black Sand Remix of Relax plus a unfinished version of my own rework of U2's God Part II. Big thanks to the Duncs, the Karens, Matthew, Papa, Jon, Sami and the rest of the eyeballers for the inspiration for this mix."
