Strengthen My Love (Northern Rascal's Stronger Edit 2011) - Amy Holland
Thanks to Northern Rascal for this exclusive edit of a track off Amy Holland's debut album from 1980 (which is now selling for £65 on Amazon). The album was produced and co-written by Michael McDonald - the King of AOR Disco - and it bears all the hallmarks of classic late period Doobie Brothers and of McDonald's own debut solo album two years later. Holland went on to win a Grammy and she married McDonald in 1983.
