Disco Rock 101 by J.A.Z.

"I did this mix back in 2007 for Cosmic Disco," says John Zahl aka J.A.Z.  from Charleston in the US.  "It seems like a long time ago but I keep going back to it as it's got some of my favorite tunes still."  We'll be posting up the sequel to Disco 101 in the next couple of weeks along with one or two songs from this mix which have been real discoveries for us, such as "Stars" by Nick Robson, a disco-rock piano track produced by Gary Numan in 1980 which was years ahead of its time.
